Hasslefree Survivors: Bunny Boiler Alice - death in a sexy cocktaildress

Hello all,
Another of the brilliant sculpts from Hasslefree: Bunny Boiler Alice.

A very attreactive lady, great curves and, as always from Kev White, a beautiful face, althought he eyes are tiny! A fun little thing is the stuffed rabbit with a gunshot wound to the head. Stuff like that really gives you something to ponder while painting.

I went back and fixed her eyes after these pictures - she is tiny, and I couldn't see the issue before these pictures were available...

Hasslefree's description of Alice:

Always think of Alice and the White rabbit as a cute fairy tale experience? Not this version....more bunny-boiler than bunny-loving. There are two variants of this figure, this is a slight conversion of the Fu-uk winner to having high heels rather than combat boots.

Hasslefree Survivors: Renato Ramirez - post-apocalyptic Nazi in a pink tutu

Hello all,
A post-apocalyptic Nazi in a pink tutu? How could anyone resist painting that? This scary guy is Renato Ramirez, from Hasslefree. Not sculpted by Kevin White, but Tom Meier and is part of the Legends of Golo range (HFGGL1).
A brilliant sculpt that simply reeks character (his long-johns reeks of something entirely else...) and was a pleasure to paint.

In the dark near future of the zombie apocalypse some people thrive, others go a little crazy, but every now and again someone grows a Hitler moustache and throws on long johns and a tutu and starts shotgunning things!

Think I need to touchup his boots...

Zombicide: Last of the walkers painted!

Hello all,
Well wouldn't you know it - the last walkers have been (very) slowly painted, and with them the entire set of zombies and survivors from Zombicide is done. I deserve a medal :-).
Anyways, before we turn to the pictures, there is a blog I would like to direct your attention to - most of you probably know the Laughing Ferret for his amazing paintjobs and brilliant conversions, but he also regularly posts interesting "rants" and personal accounts. One such was concerning how we,a s people, are not always smiling, hell msot of us have deep personal sinkholes we sink into once in a while. Yet we do not discuss this as much as we should, and if you are are one of those people who experience this stuff (which I also do) I would recommend reading this post, and acknowledge that you are not alone.
