Hello all,
A post-apocalyptic Nazi in a pink tutu? How could anyone resist painting that? This scary guy is Renato Ramirez, from Hasslefree. Not sculpted by Kevin White, but Tom Meier and is part of the Legends of Golo range (HFGGL1).
A brilliant sculpt that simply reeks character (his long-johns reeks of something entirely else...) and was a pleasure to paint.
As always, clicks enlarge - although viewer discretion advised.
Hasslefree describe him thusly:
Think I need to touchup his boots...
Anyways, thanks for reading - if you found the post interesting then any comments or tips are greatly appreciated!
Until the next time; stay safe and prepare to slaughter Zombies!
All the best,
Kasper

Hasslefree describe him thusly:
In the dark near future of the zombie apocalypse some people thrive,
others go a little crazy, but every now and again someone grows a Hitler
moustache and throws on long johns and a tutu and starts shotgunning
things!
A crazy little sculpt by the ridiculously talented Tom Meier.
Think I need to touchup his boots...

He is an absolute scream, I must dig mine out the lead pile. I always thought of him as looking a little like Steve Buscemi! Love what you've done with yours.
ReplyDeleteHi Michael,
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked him, and now that you mention it, I can definately see the Buscemi resemblance. He was a blast to paint, the only difficult decision was whether to go all pink ballerina, but in the end I felt he was the type to wear his long-johns proudly, every day.
All the best,
Kasper

ReplyDeleteHi vegel, yes I really would like to know his backstory from that Legends of Golgo-thing.
